Author(s) hereby grants to Publisher for the duration of the statutory term of copyright protection, the full and exclusive rights comprised in the Paper including but not limited to the right to publish, republish, transmit, sell, distribute, store and process in electronic media of any kind, include in document delivery services and otherwise use the Paper in whole or in part in electronic and print editions of the Journal and in derivative works throughout the world, in all languages and in all media of expression now known or later developed, and to license or permit others to do so.
Reproduction, posting, transmission or other distribution or use of the final Paper in whole or in part in any medium by the Author(s) as permitted by this Agreement requires a citation to the Journal and an appropriate credit to Publisher, suitable in form and content as follows: (Title of Paper, Author(s), Journal Title, Volume/Issue, and Year).
The authority to enforce the rights in the Paper, on behalf of an Author(s), against third parties, for example in the case of plagiarism or copyright infringement.
Please note that Publisher reserves the right to require changes to the Paper, including changes to the length of the Paper, as a condition of acceptance.
Please note that Publisher reserves the right, notwithstanding acceptance, not to publish the Paper if for any reason such publication would in the reasonable judgment of Publisher, result in legal liability or violation of journal ethical practices.
Please note that Copyright aims to protect the specific way the Paper has been written to describe an experiment and the results. If Author(s) becomes aware of a possible plagiarism, fraud or infringement we recommend contacting publisher.
Notwithstanding the above, the Author(s) or, if applicable, the Author(s)’ employer, retains all proprietary rights other than copyright, such as patent rights, in any process, procedure or article of manufacture described in the Paper.
Rights granted back to the Author(s)
Publisher hereby licenses back to the Author(s) the following rights with respect to the final published version of the Paper:
Copies for colleagues. The personal right of the Author(s) only to send or transmit individual copies of the final published version in any format to colleagues upon their specific request provided no fee is charged, and further provided that there is no systematic distribution of the Paper, e.g. posting on a listserve, network or automated delivery.
Re-use in other publications. The right to re-use the final Paper or parts thereof for any publication authored or edited by the Author(s) (excluding journal articles) where such re-used material constitutes less than half of the total material in such publication. In such case, any modifications should be accurately noted.
Teaching duties. The right to include the Paper in teaching or training duties at the Author(s)’ institution/place of employment including in course packs, e-reserves, presentation at professional conferences, in-house training, or distance learning. Electronic posting of the final published version in connection with teaching/training at the Author(s)’ company/institution is permitted subject fto the implementation of reasonable access control mechanisms, such as user name and password. Posting the final published version on the open Internet is not permitted.
Oral presentations. The right to make oral presentations based on the Paper.
Author(s) may re-use unmodified abstracts for any noncommercial purpose. For online uses of the abstracts, Publisher encourages but does not require linking back to the final published versions.
Author(s) may re-use figures, tables, data sets, artwork, and selected text up to 250 words from their Papers, provided the following conditions are met:
Full and accurate credit must be given to the Paper;
Modifications to the figures, tables and data must be noted. Otherwise, no changes may be made;
The re-use may not be made for direct commercial purposes, or for financial consideration to the Author(s);
Nothing herein shall permit dual publication in violation of journal ethical practices.
Papers owned by employer
If the Paper was written by the Author(s) in the course of the Author(s)’ employment (as a “work-made-for-hire” in the course of employment), the Paper is owned by the company/institution. In such case, the company/institution hereby grants to Publisher the full and exclusive rights comprised in the Paper as specified above (“Rights Granted”) throughout the world for the duration of the statutory term of protection. In addition to the rights specified above as retained (“Retained Rights”) and the rights granted back to the Author(s) pursuant to above (“Rights granted back to the Author(s)”), Publisher hereby grants back, without charge, to such company/institution, its subsidiaries and divisions, the right to make copies of and distribute the final published Paper internally in print format or electronically on the Company’s internal network. Copies so used may not be resold or distributed externally. However, the company/institution may include information and text from the Paper as part of an information package included with software or other products offered for sale or license or included in patent applications. Posting of the final published Paper by the company/institution on a public access website may only be done with written permission, and payment of any applicable fee(s). Also, upon payment of the applicable reprint fee, the company/institution may distribute print copies of the published Paper externally.
The Author(s) and the company/institution agree that any and all copies of the final published version of the Paper or any part thereof distributed or posted by them in print or electronic format as permitted herein will include the notice of copyright as stipulated in the Journal and a full citation to the Journal.
The Author(s) represents that the Paper is their original work, all individuals identified as Author(s) actually contributed to the Paper, and all individuals who contributed are included. The Paper is submitted only to this Journal and has not been published before. The Author(s) also warrants that the Paper contains no libelous or unlawful statements, does not infringe upon the rights (including without limitation the copyright, patent or trademark rights) or the privacy of others, or contain material or instructions that might cause harm or injury.
Names and e-mails related to the accounts registered on this site will be used exclusively for the aims of the Journal and will not be used for any other aims or given to any other people or organizations.
